After the Golden State Warriors advanced to their third straight Finals appearance by completing a sweep of the undermanned San Antonio Spurs, former NBA player-turned-analyst Jalen Rose gave a shout out to Filipino basketball fans.
After greeting his Filipino fans, Rose broke out a walis tambo on air, while calling it a "walis tingting".
Pinoy Spurs fans may not be used to their team getting swept in the Playoffs, but they may be familiar with the phrase Rose used to signal Golden State's drubbing of San Antonio.

"My Filipino family, fans, and friends wanted me to bring out the walis, walis, tingting," Rose proudly said while flopping the wrong kind of broom about.
Though Rose is obviously brandishing a walis tambo, and not a walis tingting, it's still pretty hilarious how a Filipino household cleaning staple made it into international television.
