Cameroon's dream run in the 2017 Afrobasket is over.

Despite drawing perhaps the best game from La Salle star Ben Mbala, Cameroon was no match for defending champion Nigeria in the quarterfinals Thursday as the reigning African titlists scored a convincing 106-91 victory at the City Arena in Tunis.

Mbala was a beast anew, leading all scorers with 32 points but Cameroon ran out of steam in the final 10 minutes as Nigeria won the fourth quarter by 10 points on their way to a 15-point victory.

Ike Diogu was the high man for the defending champions with 28 points and Nigeria will take on Egypt in the semifinals.
