2017 PBA MVP award is June Mar's to lose
If Fajardo wins this season's top individual award, he will join Alvin Patrimonio and Ramon Fernandez as the only players to win MVP four times. However, Fajardo's feat is unprecedented as he's set to become the first player to win the award for four straight years.

Looks like there's no stopping June Mar Fajardo from winning a record fourth straight PBA Most Valuable Player award.

Based on the latest release by the league, the Kraken maintains a healthy lead over rest of the field when it comes to overall statistical points.

Fajardo has accumulated an average of 38.58 statistical points for the season, almost six full points ahead of no. 2 Alex Cabagnot who has a season average of 32.96 SPs.

The Kraken of course did his best work in the Philippine Cup when he averaged 43.53 SPs. On top of capturing the Perpetual trophy with San Miguel, June Mar won a record-tying fifth Best Player of the Conference award.

Number three on the list is Globalport star Terrence Romeo who has an average of 32.01 statistical points for the season while TNT's Jayson Castro is at fourth with 31.52 SPs.

2013 MVP Arwind Santos complete the top 5 after he averaged 30.97 SPs for the year.

If Fajardo wins this season's top individual award, he will join Alvin Patrimonio and Ramon Fernandez as the only players to win MVP four times.

However, Fajardo's feat is unprecedented as he's set to become the first player to win the award for four straight years.
