With just around two weeks to go before their big-money superfight with Floyd Mayweather Jr., Conor McGregor and his camp find themselves in a whirlwind of headlines after a highly-publicised falling out with former sparring partner and former two-division world champion Paulie "Magic Man" Malignaggi.

Malignaggi went on record, lambasting McGregor's camp and saying that the Irish two-division MMA champion was 'one of the biggest dirtbags' he's ever met.

All this negative attention and unnecessary press can't possibly be of help to McGregor as he prepares to take on one of the best boxers in history.

Now, another two-division champion is making news after reaching out to "The Notorious" one.

Former WBO featherweight champion and reigning WBO super-featherweight king Vasyl "Hi-Tech" Lomachenko sent out a tweet, seemingly reaching out to the Irish MMA star.

This comes days after Lomachenko put on another masterful performance inside the squared circle, dominating Colombian Miguel Marriaga en route to a seventh-round stoppage win and a third consecutive title defense.

It's unclear whether the Ukrainian former Olympian is sincere in his intentions, but Lomachenko sparring with McGregor is an interesting thought.

Known for his angles and elite-level movement, Lomachenko is considered as one of the most highly-technical boxers in the game today.

McGregor on the other hand, is considered one of the most accurate strikers in the MMA world.

If the two did link up, how would Mystic Mac fare against Loma in a sparring session?
