The Miami Heat don't get as much attention as they used to do.
The "Big Three" era of LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, and Chris Bosh ended, and the franchise is now rebuilding around center Hassan Whiteside. All the hype that comes with having three of the best players in the Association on one roster, has faded.
And yet the team is still winning, thanks in large part to their coach, Erik Spoelstra.
Spoelstra registered his 400th career win, all in charge of the Heat, when his side defeated Florida rivals, the Orlando Magic, 108-96, Thursday (PHL time) at the Amway Center in Orlando.
The Heat got an 18-14 double-double, plus four blocks, from Whiteside to lead the way. Five other players finished in double-figures, led by Goran Dragic, Justise Winslow, and Tyler Johnson.
The mood around South Beach might be a tad quieter compared to before, but Coach Spo is still racking up victories.
