With a little under a week left to decide on the starters for the 2017 NBA All-Star Game in New Orleans, basketball fans have been voting non-stop for their favorite players to star in the annual showcase.
The Filipino fans of Los Angeles Lakers guard Jordan Clarkson aren't exceptions.
A Facebook page named "Jordan Clarkson PH Fans" started a campaign to send the third-year man to his first All-Star Game, and Clarkson himself acknowledged the gesture.
Local LA Lakers fan accounts, whom we featured last week, are also helping get the word out for Clarkson.
After re-signing with the Lakers this past offseason, Clarkson is averaging almost 14 points, nearly three rebounds and two assists per game, as one of the stars of a young, up-and-coming Lakers squad.
If the Republic of Georgia can vote Golden State Warriors center Zaza Pachulia ahead of Kawhi Leonard and Anthony Davis for the All-Star Game, what can the basketball-crazed Pinoys do for JC?
