Harden, Porzingis named NBA Players of the Week

James Harden of the Houston Rockets, and Kristaps Porzingis of the New York Knicks, were named the NBA Western Conference and Eastern Conference Players of the Week, respectively, for week three of the 2017-18 season, the league announced.
For Harden, it’s his second Player of the Week citation for the 2017-18 NBA season.
“The Beard” led his team to a 3-1 record, while averaging 36.3 points (51.2 3FG%) and 10.0 assists. On Nov. 5 (Nov. 6, PHL time), Harden set a new career-high in points, dropping 54 markers in a rout of the Utah Jazz.
Porzingis also led his team to a 3-1 card, behind 33.5 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 3.25 blocks. Also on Nov. 5 (Nov. 6, PHL time), Porzingis scored a career-best 40 markers, as he helped his club rally to beat the Indiana Pacers.
