WATCH: LPU Pirates put on slam dunk exhibition against JRU with three jams in one minute
Three dunks in a little over a minute. Only the LPU Pirates can achieve such a feat.
The Lyceum Pirates continue their strong run in the NCAA season 93 men's basketball tournament, winning their 17 straight game at the expense of playoff-bound team Jose Rizal University, 100-63.
But in their emphatic rout of the Bombers, they did more than keep their perfect streak alive.
They also put on a minute-long slam dunk showcase, providing three thunderous jams that are locks for the week's (or the season's) top 10 plays.
If LPU wanted to come out of the fourth quarter strong, they did, and then some.
The first slam was arguably the nastiest. Baby Beast CJ Perez pulled down the rebound, then slinged it off to a wide-open Mike Harry Nzeusseu who added some spice to his slam.
The next one came a mere 20 seconds after, this time, Nzeusseu returned the favor, finding a streaking CJ for the rim-rattler of a tomahawk jam.
The last one was made possible by sharpshooter Spencer Pretta and his defense. After getting the swipe, Pretta immediately found Perez for the sky-high alley-oop.
Each slam made the ecstatic LPU bench celebrate like they've already won the title, and that one minute stretch of aerial acrobatics from the Pirates are more than enough proof of their dominance, and why they're one of the most fun teams to watch in Philippine collegiate basketball.
