LVPI confirms FIVB approval on PVL imports' ITC request

Larong Volleyball sa Pilipinas, Inc. confirmed that the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) has approved the international transfer certificate (ITC) requests of Premier Volleyball League imports on Wednesday.
LVPI acting president Peter Cayco in a text message told ABS-CBN Sports of the latest development on the clearance needed by foreign players of the six teams participating in the Reinforced Conference.
“Approved na daw ang request according to FIVB. Just waiting for their email,” said Cayco.
PVL imports will get the green light to see action once the ITCs arrive.
Perlas team manager Charo Soriano also announced the good news in a text message.
“As of the moment, the ITCs are being released. Bosnian player (Edina Selimovic of Pocari Sweat) has already been approved. High probability that they can suit up tomorrow,” she said.
BaliPure and Pocari Sweat will face off on Thursday at the FilOil Flying V Centre in San Juan at 4:00 p.m. while Perlas will take on Philippine Air Force at 6:00 p.m.
