Three rising stars in UAAP women’s volleyball take front and center as the cover girls of Chalk Magazine’s latest issue.
Dressed in sports luxe, DLSU Lady Spiker Kianna Dy, Ateneo Lady Eagle Bea de Leon, and FEU Lady Tamaraw Jerrili Malabanan discuss their respective volleyball journeys inside. They also talk about how their being of #ladyboss standards on the court helped them shine as a student, daughter, and friend. From handling heartbreak to creating a #ladyboss style kit, the three star players got fans covered.
Note: Chalk used to feature just men’s basketball stars on the cover of its annual “UAAP Issue,” until women’s volleyball came into the picture. Chalk has since started throwing the spotlight on the sport and its star athletes, with Ateneo’s Alyssa Valdez joining DLSU’s Jeron Teng on the July 2014 cover. Valdez repeated with Amy Ahomiro and Denden Lazaro, all from UAAP Season 77’s champion, on the August 2015 cover. Way to go for UAAP women’s volleyball!
