The UAAP men’s basketball tournament, widely regarded as the premier collegiate league for the country’s best up-and-coming cagers, is set to tip off on September 9, 2017 for its 80th season, with Far Eastern University as the host.

Before the start of another exciting year of UAAP action, let's take a closer look at the general broadcast logo of UAAP Season 80:

The ubiquitous UAAP inscription is seen here, emblazoned with a metallic gradient for a sleek and polished finish.

Meanwhile, the numerical identity, which makes up most of the logo, is in FEU’s iconic green and gold pallette combination that has streaking diagonal lines that make the emblem look kinetic, seemingly in perpetual action.

How does the new logo fair against the earlier iterations?

The new look is just one of the revamps that will unfold as the 80th season draws near, so stay tuned to S+A, S+A HD and sports.abs-cbn.com/uaap.
