During yet another forgettable UAAP season, one moment remains unforgettable for the University of the East Red Warriors.

No, it's not one of coach Derrick Pumaren's trendy outfits that rival that of Thirdy Ravena.

During yet another forgettable UAAP season, marked by another missed Final Four appearance, Alvin Pasaol's incredible 49-point explosion against defending champion La Salle is UE's one shining moment in Season 80.

Officially out of playoff contention after taking a beating at the hands of Far Eastersn University on Sunday, that performance is the one that stood out for the Red Warriors.

"Of course, Alvin's 49 points," Pumaren said on UE's memorable moments this year, if any.

"I'm proud with the way he played, yung true potential niya came out this season because I personally recruited him," he added.

Despite a lost season, Pumaren is proud of his defiant team that put up a fight despite being the only crew without an import.

However, Pumaren will not hide the fact that he's disappointed with how UE's campaign turned out.

"I think we could have done more, we could have dome better with the way we played," Pumaren said.

"Despite of all the odds na nangyari, wala akong import, they're giving it all," he added.
