Arwind Santos was one of San Miguel's heroes in Game 2 against Ginebra.
In Game 3? Not so much.
With the Beermen finally losing a game in the PBA playoffs, the ever quotable former league MVP had a pretty interesting take on what went wrong for his team Tuesday at the MOA Arena.
"May mga shadow eh. Parang may mga shadow yung mga players kanina eh. Parang yung lima nagiging walo," Arwind said, obviously referring to the officiating.
"Parang ganun eh, kaya nahihirapan kami bantayan kasi lima yung kalaban pero nagiging walo. Ewan ko kung sobrang bilis kaya may shadow?" he added, wondering on the mysteries of life.
One quick look at the stats will reveal that San Miguel actually shot more free throws than Ginebra, 25 to 16.
The foul story was close too, with the Gin Kings called for 18 and the Beermen whistled for 16.
But still, Santos maintains his stance about the game.
"Ako masasabi ko sa game na to, nakakatawa. Muntik pa sila. Yun lang," Arwind said.
Game 4 is set Thursday still at the MOA Arena.
