Reil Cervantes was solid as always with 14 points and four rebounds, but it was Mark Cruz and his game-long brilliance that lit the home team for its second win in four games
With Cruz steering the ship, Pampanga dominated the final frame and outscored their opponents, 23-15.
The forward tandem of Felix Apreku and Michael Juico also had a big role in that, merging for 17 points and 22 rebounds.
On the other hand, the Kuyas just ran out of gas in the endgame and succumbed to their second setback in five outings. Dan Sara paced them with 19 points while JR Alabanza also added 16 markers and six rebounds of his own.
More importantly, this is the biggest win thus far for a revamped Pampanga side.
