Fittingly enough, some of the Philippines' biggest fighting heroes were able to share the stage on National Heroes' Day.
Eight-division boxing world champion and reigning WBA Welterweight World Champion Manny Pacquiao and members of top Filipino mixed martial arts stable Team Lakay namely former two-time ONE Lightweight World Champion Eduard Folayang, former ONE Flyweight World Champion Geje Eustaquio, reigning ONE Strawweight World Champion Joshua Pacio, and head coach Mark Sangiao were all special guests at a Grab Philippines event, Monday evening at the Mall of Asia Arena.
The collection of Philippine combat sports stars shared the stage, much to the delight of the fans in attendance.
Pacquiao then went on to recognize ONE Championship, as well as his own boxing outfit, MP Promotions. Pacquiao is, in fact, one of the earliest shareholders of ONE Championship.
While stars in their own field in mixed martial arts, the Team Lakay members were still in awe at being alongside arguably one of the best boxers to ever step into the ring.
