Terrence Romeo has had practice with San Miguel once, and while he’s still trying to figure out his true place in the team, it appears that he already has an idea on where he belongs with the Beermen.
San Miguel is definitely not Romeo’s team. At least not right now.
“Champion na sila wala pa ako eh,” Romeo said on his new teammates in San Miguel.
“Wala talaga akong maipagma-malaki sa kahit kanino sa team na to,” he added.
As he integrates himself in the reigning and defending 4-time PBA Philippine Cup champions, Romeo says he’s just trying to play his best basketball.
He just wants to help the team and more importantly, he wants to win and he wants to learn how to win.
Playing for arguably the best All-Filipino team in history, there’s no better teachers than his current teammates.
“Ang sakin lang, gagawin ko yung best ko para matulungan sila,” Romeo said.
“Masaya ako dahil nasa team ako ngayon na alam kong hindi hilahan pababa. Gusto ko matuto sa kanila paano mag-champion,” he added.
