After a lackluster PBA debut for Magnolia in the 2019 Commissioner’s Cup, import James Farr had quite a bounce back effort against NLEX.
Farr registered 24 points and 21 rebounds vs. the Road Warriors, helping the Hotshots take their first win of the mid-season joust.
There was really nothing special in Farr’s turnaround, he just finally got the press the snooze button in Manila.
“I got some sleep,” Farr said after his solid comeback effort.
“But I’m still working on my jet lag. It’s not about the points for me, it’s just more important that we won,” he added.
Farr has another immediate challenge coming up as Magnolia takes on Columbian Sunday at the Big Dome.
With a big game for the Hotshots, Farr looks to build upon his performance from the NLEX game and help the team pick up another win.
“We have a lot in front of us,” he said.
“We’re 1-2 now, we wanna go out this weekend being 2-2 so we have an even playing field and continue our journey from there,” Farr added.
