Northport proves that there’s life without Stanley Pringle.

The eight-man Batang Pier erased a 25-point deficit in the second half to stun Rain or Shine, scoring a huge 107-105 overtime win Wednesday at the MOA Arena in the 2019 PBA Commissioner’s Cup.

Still down by 21 entering the fourth, Northport slowly chipped away at the deficit and needed a booming triple from rookie Robert Bolick to force overtime, 100-all.

In extra time, the Batang Pier turned to Mo Tautuaa and the big man delivered some heavy hits, including a clutch three of his own to get some separation against ROS.

Northport then sealed the win for the team’s third straight, forcing another tie for first place with idle TNT. The KaTropa and the Batang Pier are now at 6-1.
