We're gonna get revenge -- Janisa Johnson

It’s not yet over.

PetroGazz import Janisa Johnson vows to bounce back on Saturday and drag the Premier Volleyball League Season 3 Reinforced Conference best-of-three Finals against defending champion Creamline to a winner-take-all contest.

The Angels fell to a 0-1 hole in the series after suffering a 26-24, 16-25, 16-25, 22-25, defeat in Game 1 on Wednesday in a match saw PetroGazz hasten its fall with errors capped off by a controversial late call.

“Everyone's reflecting including myself. I mean, of course we're pissed, you know, we're upset but it's not over yet,” said the American reinforcement. “So we have to, you know, know it's not over and we’ll come ready for Saturday.”

The Angels were able to salvage the opening set in a come-from-behind fashion but the grand slam-seeking Cool Smashers’ championship experience and firepower was just too much for PetroGazz, who suffered its second straight loss the Creamline in their three head-to-head meetings.

“We knew that there were going to bring everything and unfortunately, we weren't as prepared as we thought,” Johnson said. “But now we have these two days to really regain our focus. And, you know, come ready for Saturday.”

Johnson knows that in order to force a decider on Sunday they have to limit their errors unlike in Game 1 when they gave away 31 points off their miscues.

“It’s always been our struggle, our errors. When we play good, you know, we're here and when we're playing bad, it's because of our errors,” said Johnson, who scored 18 points in the series opener. “These next two days of practice, it's going to be solely working on our errors and try to limit them because they do cost this game.”

Johnson also wants to put the controversial late overreaching call on Cherry Nunag that ended the match behind and just focus on the task at hand.

“You can't go back and change anything. So like I said, we're pretty upset about that. But we can't go back and change it so Saturday, we're gonna get revenge,” she promised.

Game 3, if needed, is on Sunday at the Ynares Sports Center in Antipolo.
