After a huge off-season haul of big-name players, the University of the Philippines men's basketball team flies to Serbia to begin their UAAP season 81 training camp.
UP flew to Serbia last Saturday for their two-week session in one of Europe's basketball hotbeds.
According to a release from UP, the Maroons' basketball camp will travel to Novi Sad for intensive training drills and sessions with players from different Serbian ball clubs.
The team will be back in early August to continue its grind in home soil before season 81 that starts in September.
The Fighting Maroons added both Ricci Rivero and Kobe Paras during the break, but they will only be able to join the squad in the UAAP in Season 82 in accordance to the league's rule on transferees.
Last year, the squad travelled to the vaunted Impact Basketball Gym in Las Vegas.
