DLSU Softbelles make it two in a row, Adamson still unbeaten

Adamson University remained unscathed after three games in the UAAP Season 77 Softball tournament. Meanwhile, De La Salle University toppled National University to seize the second spot in the team standings.
The fourth day of the UAAP Season 77 Softball tournament took place on Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at the Rizal Memorial Stadium with De La Salle University needing just six innings to beat National University, 8-1.
It was the second straight victory for the Softbelles and third overall this season against only one defeat. The Lady Bulldogs, who finished at second place for the past two seasons, suffered their second defeat in three outings.
Meanwhile, Adamson University pushed its UAAP win streak to 51 games after vanquishing Ateneo de Manila University, 10-2 with the mercy rule taking effect in the 5th inning. It was the third victory for the Lady Falcons who remain as the lone unbeaten team this tournament.
The Lady Eagles are absorbed their fourth straight loss and are still in search for their first win of the season.
Finally, the University of Sto. Tomas prevailed over the University of the Philippines, 2-1 to improve to 1-2 while the Lady Maroons fell to 2-2.
The UAAP Season 77 Softball tournament resumes on Saturday, February 7, 2015 at the Rizal Memorial Stadium with the following schedule:
8:00 A.M. – UE (2-1) vs. DLSU (0-2)
10:00 A.M. – ADMU (0-4) vs. NU (1-2)
12:00 P.M. – AdU (3-0) vs. ADMU (0-4)
