Belo wishing first Christmas away from Midsayap is worth it

I'M DREAMING. Mac Belo will be reppin' for Blackwater instead of chillin' in Midsayap, North Cotabato.
For the first time in his 23 years of existence, the pride of Midsayap, North Cotabato won’t be home for Christmas.
“First time, first time ko na hindi umuwi sa probinsya,” Mac Belo shared.
The first-year player wasn’t able to go home – not just yet, at least – because his Blackwater Elite opens the PBA’s Christmas Day twin bill against the Mahindra Floodbuster. “Trabaho naman, so okay lang,” he then went on to say.
And why wouldn’t it be, as Christmas had already come a little early for Belo with him getting drafted into Asia’s first pay-for-play league and snagging the first Player of the Week award in the season.
More than that, the versatile forward has also led the third-year franchise to its best-ever start at 4-2.
And Belo and Blackwater’s wish for Santa Claus is simple – to have a new best-ever start after their matchup that tips-off at 3:00 PM. “Sana manalo kami para maganda ang pasko namin tsaka para going into 2017, may naipon na kaming mga panalo,” he expressed.
