Cone couldn't help but marvel at PH Arena's imposing aura

Going to the Philippine Arena is an experience in it itself, just ask Tim Cone.
Coaching his first game at the Philippine Arena, 19-time PBA champion head coach Tim Cone couldn't help but marvel at the presence of the massive Iglesia Ni Cristo-owned facility.
Talking to the media after steering Ginebra to another Christmas Clasico victory over rival Star, Cone was certainly impressed of what he saw.
And for a guy who has seen his fair share of arenas around the world, his appreciation most definitely carries weight.
"Let me say, this is an awesome facility. I'm so impressed with this facility.Locker room, floor, I mean out there... just wow. It's so massive," Cone said.
"I've been to a lot of stadiums in the US, I've never seen anything like this. Amazing," he added.
True enough, the Philippine Arena is a towering site that can house over 50,000 fans. While the attendance of the 2016 Christmas Day double-header didn't quite reach the number set by the PBA during its opening ceremony two years ago, the mere size of the place was enough to Cone happy.
Happy enough to make him want to return to Bulacan and coach another game there.
"I thought it was awesome. Just the whole experience of coming here was an awesome experience," Cone said.
"It's really a first-class facility. I can play here every day," he added.
