Grey on Meralco’s four-game power outage: ‘Sayang, ganun na lang lagi’

BLAZER. Jonathan Grey is, of course, not happy that he has lost five of his first seven games in the PBA.
Rookie Jonathan Grey, usually a sparkplug off the bench, was slotted as a starter for Meralco on Friday.
And still, the young gun’s insertion into the first five fell short in jolting some life into the Bolts.
Grey and company battled back from as much as 16 points behind only to see Globalport have all the answers in the endgame.
It was Meralco’s fourth loss in a row and it now finds itself 10th out of 12 teams.
Just like they always have, however, the Bolts are staying the course. Yun lang talaga,” the first-year guard shared.
However, the 24-year-old is having a tough time just letting go of what he could improve on.
This, even after he scored 18 points, including 10 in the third quarter, to go along with six rebounds.
Grey then went on to point out how he muffed on five out of his nine free throws in what turned out to be an eight-point defeat for Meralco.
Still, Black and the Bolts have always made it a point to lift up the pride of College of St. Benilde.
