It may be time to add another U.S. college ballplayer with Filipino ancestry to your must-watch list.
Filipino-American Remy Martin may just be that player; an athletic five-foot-11 point guard that committed to the Arizona State University Sun Devils, the former school of leading NBA Most Valuable Player candidate, James Harden.
Martin is in his last playing year for the Sierra Canyon School Trailblazers where he's averaging 10.4 points, 7.7 assists, 2.7 rebounds, and 2.4 steals per game, according to maxpreps.com.
At a shade under six-feet, Martin is a "talented" and a "very athletic scoring point guard," says ESPN scout Joel Francisco, as per azcentral.com.
Francisco adds that Martin "Plays hard all the time" but is turnover prone and still needs to learn the position.
Check him out throwing down a reverse slam with relative ease:
Martin is considered as a four-star recruit by Scout.com and was ranked as the 23rd best point guard in this year's class, the fourth best floor general in the West, and the 128th overall prospect in the U.S.
