Alab Pilipinas plotting greater challenge for Slingers

Now with the two reinforcements they have always needed, Alab Pilipinas is more confident than ever to score their first win that will not come at the expense of lowly Kaohsiung in the 2016 Asean Basketball League.

Backstopped by versatile Sampson Carter and towering James Hughes, Ray Parks Jr. is nothing but determined to finally lead the Philippines past league-leading Singapore on Friday at the Alonte Sports Arena in Binan, Laguna.

The Filipinos hope third time is indeed the charm against the Slingers when they wage war at 8:00 PM. All of the action will be broadcast LIVE on ABS-CBN S+A Channel 23 as well as streamed LIVE.

Alab currently stands in third-place with a 3-2 record, but all of their wins have come against the bottom-feeding Truth. Meanwhile, their two losses have both been at the hands of the Slingers who find themselves atop the leaderboard at 7-1.

Parks Jr. and company want nothing more than to change that as they seek revenge on the same venue where Singapore dealt them a season-opening defeat.
