Chris Lutz's time in San Miguel has officially ended after the former Gilas Pilipinas gunner has been picked up by the Meralco Bolts Monday.
After becoming an unrestricted free agent over the weekend, the third pick of the 2011 draft is headed to the Bolts. The PBA's official Twitter account confirmed the movement.
Lutz, a three-time champion with the Beermen and a member of the original Gilas program, has been limited by injuries as of late. He recently went to the US to undergo hip treatment last year.
Since being drafted by the then Petron Blaze Boosters, Lutz has averaged 8.5 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 2.8 assists per game for his career. His rookie year remains as his best although when healthy, he has been a steady part of a talented San Miguel rotation.
He hasn't played yet in the 2017 Philippine Cup.
