Alab Pilipinas looking to reignite fire at expense of Saigon Heat

Coming off its worst loss in the 2016-2017 Asean Basketball League, Alab Pilipinas wants nothing more than a big-time bounce back.
To do so, the Filipinos are plotting to take out their frustrations on visiting Saigon when they meet each other on Friday at the Olivarez College Gym in Paranaque.
The Philippines and the Heat wage war for the first time in the season at 8:00 PM. All of the action will be broadcast LIVE on ABS-CBN S+A Channel 23 as well as streamed LIVE.
Humbled the last time around by Hong Kong to the tune of a 13-point rout that was not as close as the final score made it seem, Alab crashed back to earth now at 5-3. Still, they remain determined to get back up and get back into breathing down the necks of top two Singapore and Hong Kong.
Also hoping to catch the fire that made them one of the darlings of the league last season, however, the Heat are hungry to pull off an upset that would improve their 1-4 standing.
