STILL THE ONE. June Mar Fajardo still towers over closest competitor Terrence Romeo in the BPC race.

June Mar Fajardo remains on pace for an impressive third consecutive recognition as Best Player of the Conference in the PBA Philippine Cup.

San Miguel’s pivotman stands head and shoulders above the rest of the field with 45 Statistical Points (SPs) after the elimination round of the conference’s iteration in 2016-2017.

Fajardo has built his advantage on averages of 19.9 points, 16 rebounds, 1.7 assists, and 1.7 blocks all while yet again powering the Beermen to a league-best 10-1 record.

In the last two years, the Cebuano has left no doubt in achieving the Best Player of the Conference award.

Giving Fajardo a run for his money this time around is GlobalPort gunner Terrence Romeo who has thus far compiled 41.5 SPs.

The undoubted scoring leader, Romeo has established himself as the league’s premiere perimeter player.

Rounding out the top five for the award are Fajardo’s teammates in Arwind Santos and Alex Cabagnot and Ginebra’s Japeth Aguilar.
