Alab Pilipinas readies rude welcome for struggling Malaysia
MABUHAY! Ray Parks Jr. and the rest of Alab Pilipinas are seeking a winning streak at the expense of Malaysia.

It didn’t take long for Alab Pilipinas to bounce back in the 2016-2017 Asean Basketball League.

Having suffered their most devastating setback, they got right back up and got right back into business by humbling mighty Singapore once more.

And now, the Filipinos go for yet another winning streak – just in time for the stretch run of the season – and it will have to come  at the expense of visiting Westports Malaysia on Friday at the Baliwag Star Arena in Bulacan.

Alab welcomes the Dragons to the Philippines for the first time in the season at 8:00 PM and all of the action will be aired LIVE on S+A Channel 23 as well as streamed LIVE.

The Filipinos bounced back from a 65-72 defeat to Saigon two weeks ago by felling the Slingers, 64-62, and improving to a 7-4 standing.

Plotting an upset of its own, however, is Malaysia which desperately wants a playoff push as it currently has a bottom-feeding 2-9 record.
