Alab lose, still make sure Rayray smiles on his birthday
WE GOT YOU, BRO. Ray Parks Jr. took an L on his birthday, but still had his Alab teammates to make him feel like a winner at the end of the day.

Alab Pilipinas was at the wrong end of a statement win by Westports Malaysia last Sunday.

Eking out a 79-77 win, the Dragons got the biggest win of their title defense in the 2016-2017 Asean Basketball League at the expense of the Filipinos.

Making it worse for Alab, their upset loss came on the birthday of Ray Parks Jr.

Indeed, his 24th birthday wasn’t all good for the Filipino-American as he only had eight points and eight rebounds to go along with five turnovers.

Despite falling back to an 8-5 standing, however, Parks Jr. still had reasons to smile at the end of the day thanks to his teammates.

It’s all good, Ray-ray! We know you’ll get ‘em next time!
