In the biggest game of Manila Clasico, Lee was helpless

"Para akong pusa na na-corner sa gilid.." --- Paul Lee on his Game 7 performance.
Playing the biggest game of his very young Star career, Paul Lee was reduced to being practically a spectator Tuesday night as Brgy. Ginebra ran away to win Game 7 of Manila Clasico.
Lee, who was instrumental in giving the Hotshots a 2-0 lead earlier in this series and a 3-2 advantage just last week, played perhaps his worst game in the semifinals, scoring only four points on 2-of-8 shooting in almost 36 minutes.
It was ugly and almost sad to watch.
"Parang di ko alam gagawin ko eh. Para akong pusa na na-corner sa gilid. Talagang lahat ng papasukin ko naka-abang sila lahat," Lee said, complimenting Ginebra's impeccable defense that led to his dismal outing.
"After first two games, talagang humirap yung basketball para sakin," he added.
Falling short of making his first finals apperance with Star, Lee was not ready to concede the Hotshots' All-Filipino run as a complete waste.
After all, it's Lee first conference with the team and they came just a win short of making the championship round.
"Meron naman positive. Kahit bago team namin nakarating kami dito," Lee said.
"Still happy pa rin. Lalaban din talaga kami hangga't kaya pa. Yan mga positive na nakita ko," he added.
