Finals MVP Ross: Crowd can't shoot the ball for Ginebra

Ginebra and its wild crowd will have a shot at taking down two-time defending Philippine Cup champion San Miguel Beer, hopefully they don't miss.
For the second straight conference, the Gin Kings are back in the PBA Finals.
That means the always hyped Brgy. Ginebra crowd is also back as well.
For the second straight conference, the Gin Kings' finals opponents couldn't care less.
"I mean, we know the crowd is gonna be heavily [pro] Ginebra, but just don't focus on them," reigning Philippine Cup Finals MVP Chris Ross of San Miguel Beer said.
"The crowd can't shoot the ball for Ginebra, the crowd can't play defense for them," he added.
Locked in a seven-game affair against their sister team, the Beermen shoudln't really be focusing on the Ginebra crowd. After the Gin Kings took away their title in the 2016 Governors' Cup, they should instead worry about not letting that happen again.
And after the Beermen got sort of exposed by TNT in the semifinals and Ginebra practically unbeaten in do-or-die games this season, the champs have some legit reasons to be worried about their chances of winning the Perpetual trophy.
But with history on the horizon, San Miguel is far from distracted. In fact, the Gin Kings and their crowd can give it their best shot in trying to take down the Beermen.
Hopefully, they don't miss.
"We kind of wished the game was tonight. We're all ready to play, we're ready to go," Ross said Wednesday.
"We just gotta focus on who is inside the court - the five guys that are wearing the San Miguel Beer jersey who will help us win,: he added.
Game 1 of the best-of-7 is Friday at the MOA Arena.
