Welcome to the PBA Mr. Stephenson

Alex Stephenson went through an insane amount of extra-curricular activity Sunday night. It was only his second PBA game ever.
It was quite an interesting Sunday night for Meralco import Alex Stephenson.
On the basketball side of things, he had a pretty good game as he worked his way to 18 points, 24 rebounds, and the W.
On the other end, he found himself involved in quite a physical encounter with Bradwyn Guinto, throwing an elbow to the NLEX big man.
Things didn't stop there though as Stephenson ended up on the receiving end of a literal slap in the face courtesy of Eric Camson. He then exchanged more than a couple of words with the NLEX bench, against Yeng Guiao in particular.
To top it all off, Stephenson was confronted by a woman after the game. The woman, identified as Guinto's girlfriend, said that next time, the hulking import should "learn to play fair."
Playing on his second game in the PBA, it was certainly a welcome for the 29-year-old former USC Trojan.
He doesn't mind it though. In fact, he kinda likes it.
"It's physical, I mean I like it though. I got hit with a slap to the face, I don't take it personal. I was upset at the moment but that's basketball it happens," Stephenson said.
"I get hit, sometimes I hit people. I dish it out so I can take it, it's nothing personal just physical ball. I like it," he added.
With so much extra-curricular activities that went on, Stephenson has learned to just simply not care about it.
Take his supposed war of words for example, Stephenson said he didn't exactly hear what the fiery coach said. If that's the case, why bother right?
"I really didn't hear what he [coach Yeng] said, I just said what I had to say and walked away," Stephenson said.
"Basketball is an aggressive sport, a bunch of alpha males out there competing. People say stuff, things happen and it's over now so it's back to playing ball," he added.
