All-Star lineups that will take on Gilas Pilipinas revealed
June Mar Fajardo will banner team Visayas as Gilas Pilipinas will go through three exhibition games for the 2017 PBA All-Star week.

The official lineups for the three exhibition games for the 2017 PBA All-Star week have been revealed.

In the week-long festivities set for April 26-30, Gilas Pilipinas will go through three games against a team of All-Stars from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.

In the opening salvo on April 26 at Cagayan De Oro, a Gilas team featuring June Mar Fajardo, Terrence Romeo, LA Revilla, RR Pogoy, Mike Tolomia, Kevin Ferrer, Matthew Wright, Carl Bryan Cruz, Norbert Torres, Bradwyn Guinto, and Fonzo Gotladera will take on the Mindanao All-Stars.

That team, coached by Star's Chito Victolero, is composed of Mac Belo, Jio Jalalon, Scottie Thompson, Mark Barroca, PJ Simon, Rafi Reavis, Cyrus Baguio, RR Garcia, Carlo Lastimosa, Baser Amer, and Glenn Khobuntin. Alaska's Sonny Thoss and TNT's Troy Rosario were added to the Mindanao team to bolster its frontline.

Two days later at Lucena City, the main host for the 2017 All-Star festivities, a Luzon team coached by San Miguel's Leo Austria and made up of Jayson Castro, Calvin Abueva, Paul Lee, Alex Cabagnot, LA Tenorio, Marcio Lassiter, Marc Pingris, Japeth Aguilar, Arwind Santos, Ranidel De Ocampo, Stanley Pringle, and Mark Caguioa will challenge Gilas.

The national team facing the Luzon squad will be led by Matthew Wright. Also in the team are Mike Tolomia, Almond Vosotros, Ed Daquioag, Jonathan Grey, Kevin Ferrer, Allein Maliksi, Carl Bryan Cruz, Norbert Torres, Bradwyn Guinto, Arnold Van Opstal, and Raymond Almazan.

Finally, on April 30 at Cebu, team Visayas handled by Tim Cone will wrap up the three-game set for the national team.

June Mar Fajardo will star for Visayas together with James Yap, Terrence Romeo, Dondon Hontiveros, Jeff Chan, Joe Devance, Chris Ross, Ronal Tubid, Asi Taulava, Jericho Cruz, Aldrech Ramos, and Chris Ellis.

The Gilas lineup against the Visayas All-Stars will be led by Jayson Castro, Calvin Abueva, Mac Belo, Japeth Aguilar, Jio Jalalon, LA Revilla, RR Pogoy, Allein Maliksi, Von Pessumal, Troy Rosario, and Raymond Almazan.

The 2017 All-Star Games went away with the traditional North vs. South format to give way to the preparations of Gilas Pilipinas for the upcoming SEABA Championships in May which will be hosted by the Philippines.
