Getting a new lease on his PBA life, Mark Cruz is determined to do anything to make it work in the pros this time around.

Coming to Blackwater after a stint with Tanduay in the PBA D-League, the former Letran Knight officially made his return Friday against TNT.

Unfortunately for him and the rest of the Elite, the KaTropa emerged victorious in a close contest. However, that doesn't dampen the fact that Cruz is back and he feels super blessed about it.

"Sobrang blessed ang feeling, and syempre masaya," Cruz said who finished with seven points in 15 minutes of play.

Acquired by Blackwater a day after Tanduay lost to Cignal in the D-League semifinals, Cruz was already put into action basically after just one day with the Elite.

None of that matters for the former NCAA champion and Finals MVP.

"Actually hindi naman ganun kahirap. Medyo pagod lang ako," he said.
