Two games into his PBA career, Donte Greene is still not shooting as good as he would've liked.
He's winning though so it's all good.
TNT's latest in particular, a five-point overtime victory against NLEX after erasing a 29-point deficit, made Greene really feel good about his new team.
"That win was a character win. We were flat, we weren't playing any defense at all. We had a talk at halftime, ficexed some things on defense. I just told the guys that we have to trust each other," Greene said.
"We have been together for just a week and a half or two weeks. We're still trying to get better," he added.
While Greene is having little to no problem integrating himself with TNT and building some nice chemistry, the NBA veteran still has to fix his shot.
He's working on it.
"I'm feeling good. Better game than the other night. Still wasn't my best," Greene said as he shot only 33 percent from the field against NLEX.
He only shot 32 percent in his debut PBA game against Blackwater.
Despite his offensive struggles, Greene is working on other things on his game. Things that should help TNT keep winning.
"I'm comfortable [focusing on rebounds and defense]. Whatever it takes to win," he said.
"I'm a basketball player. I don't limit myself to just doing one thing. I try to do everything," Greene added.
