Hong Kong blanks Saigon to forge Finals duel with Singapore
NO SWEAT.

In only its first go-round in the 2016-2017 Asean Basketball League, Hong Kong is into the championship round.

Josh Boone and Tyler Lamb terrorized the inside and the outside and the Eastern Long Lions downed Saigon in an 86-79 decision on Saturday at the CIS Arena in Vietnam.

The three-headed monster of Boone with 27 points, Lamb with 26 points, and Marcus Elliot with an all-around 18 points, seven assists, and six rebounds yet again showed the way for Hong Kong.

With the sweep of the semifinals series, Hong Kong will be moving onto the Finals where they will collide with Singapore.

Four of the five starters for the Slingers were in double-digits, but were still no match for the league-leaders’ three-headed monster.
