PRIZED WARD. Robert Bolick has emerged as a legitimate two-way force for San Beda and Cignal.
Already with a UAAP championship as well as an NCAA championship in his resume, Robert Bolick has earned yet another feather to his cap.
The 20-year-old nabbed the distinction as the Most Valuable Player in the 2017 PBA D-League Aspirants Cup on Monday at the Filoil Flying V Centre in San Juan.
In doing so, he bested more regarded fellow contenders such as Paul Desiderio, Sidney Onwubere, and Jason Perkins.
Averaging 12.2 points on 49.5 percent shooting, 3.6 rebounds, 3.3 assists, and 1.2 steals, Bolick garnered the most numbers of votes from the league’s commissioner’s office, broadcasters, and sportswriters.
The San Beda College standout has a golden opportunity to also add a D-League title to his credentials as Cignal tries to sweep Racal in the Finals.
