San Miguel has traded RR Garcia for TNT's Matt Ganuelas-Rosser.
In a rare transaction between PBA superpowers, San Miguel Beer and TNT have exchanged role players just as the 2017 PBA Commissioner's Cup heads to another breaak in action for the All-Star week.
After getting his first taste of PBA gold, RR Garcia has been shipped to the KaTropa in a one-on-one trade announced by the league Monday.
In return, the Beermen will acquire former national team player Matt Ganuelas-Rosser from TNT.
A former UAAP MVP with Far Eastern University, Garcia has been on the mend as he continues to work his way from a shoulder injury suffered during San Miguel's recent All-Filipino title run.
Ganuelas-Rosser meanwhile has saw his role with TNT diminish since various injuries stunted his growth. He was with Gilas Pilipinas during the 2015 FIBA-Asia championships in China.
The last time San Miguel and TNT made a trade was in 2008 when the Beermen acquired Jay Washington for a first round pick. The then Tropang Texters used that pick to draft Jayson Castro.
