Back-up is on the way as Blatche ready for another Gilas run
The former Brooklyn Net and recent CBA champion Xinjiang Flying Tigers posted a tweet Thursday night that he's "excited to be back and win for my fellow Pinoys."

LUCENA CITY --- Backup is on the way.

As Gilas Pilipinas continues to prepare for the 2017 SEABA Championships, naturalized center Andray Blatche basically made it official that he's available and ready to go for the Philippine national team.

The former Brooklyn Net and recent CBA champion Xinjiang Flying Tigers posted a tweet Thursday night that he's "excited to be back and win for my fellow Pinoys."

Mga Kababayan! I am so excited to be back and win for my fellow Pinoys. Please come and see us all play at SEABA. Laban! Puso!

Blatche, who first made his debut with Gilas Pilipinas during the 2014 FIBA World Cup in Spain, is expected to arrive in the country early next week.

Barring any wild developments, the 6'11" center will reinforce the Philippines once again as the country hosts the 2017 SEABA joust on May 12-18, the region's qualifier for the 2017 FIBA Asia Cup.

National team head coach Chot Reyes will announcethe rest of the final 12 Friday night after Gilas takes on the Luzon All-Stars at the Quezon Convention Center here.
