Forget Nike, adidas, or Under Armour, the era of Big Baller Brand is officially here.
Before even getting drafted into the NBA, former UCLA star has revealed his first-ever signature shoe by way of his family's Big Baller Brand.
SLAM got the exclusive first look on the new BBB ZO2, the shoe that makes Lonzo Ball the first player to have an independent signature entering the Association.
Per SLAM, tech specs on the ZO2s include pythone microfiber texture, patent leather on the heel logos and a gel outsole. The low-cut silhouette will retail for $495 or close to P25,000.
A special WET Authographs edition, a shoe signed by Lonzo himself that comes in a glass box and LED lights will be on sale for $995 or just below P50,000.
Last week, an ESPN report surfaced saying that Big Baller Brand was no longer in talks with the "Big 3" of shoe companies after Lonzo's father and BBB CEO Lavar Ball made it clear that he was looking for a co-branding as opposed to a mere endorsement deal for his sons.
Enter the ZO2s.
Ball is projected to be a top-3 pick in the upcoming NBA Draft after finishing his first and only season in UCLA averaging 14.6 points and 7.6 assists, the best in the entire NCAA Division 1.
