Justin Brownlee FTW.

You think Justin Brownlee is clutch?

Why yes, he is clutch. Super clutch even.

The profilic Ginebra import saved the Gin Kings once again, lifting the barangay to a pulsating 103-102 victory over the Alaska Aces Sunday at the Big Dome in the 2017 PBA Commissioner's Cup.

Down two with 19 seconds to go and no timeouts left, Brownlee took it upon himself to carry the ball in Ginebra's final offensive possession.

The result? A completed and-one play against Cory Jefferson to give the Gin Kings a 103-102 lead with 7.2 seconds left.

After the Aces called three timeouts to try and score a game-winning basket, Brownlee then played tremendous defense on Jefferson, forcing a tough miss as the Gin Kings walked away with a fifth straight win and a 5-1 record.

Brownlee finished with an incredible all-around effort of 37 points, 14 rebouds, six assists, three steals, and two blocks as Ginebra tried to make do withouth Japeth Aguilar. Scottie Thompson also had a fine effort, scoring 11 points, grabbing 11 boards and dishing out six dimes.

LA Tenorio was good for 11 markers, four rebounds, and six assists.

"We certainly battled through a lot of adversity in that game. We went the last six minutes of the game, I guess, without having a timeout, and in a down-the-stretch game, that made it very difficult," head coach Tim Cone said.

"But our guys, they're used to playing down the stretch and making plays, and they did that on both side, offense and defense," he said.

The Aces, which now lost three straight for a 4-3 mark, got 25 points and 18 rebounds from Jefferson.

The scores:

GINEBRA 103 - Brownlee 37, Devance 12, Tenorio 11, Thompson 11, Caguioa 10, Ferrer 6, Mercado 6, Ellis 6, Marcelo 4, Cruz 0.
