Ratliffe returns as Star takes on TNT in battle of top teams
The Hotshots have brought back in Ricardo Ratliffe for the 2017 PBA Commissioner's Cup and the American import, who saw action with the team last season, will make his debut for the mid-season joust Wednesday against TNT KaTropa.

Despite his steadiness and affinity for rim-rattling dunks, it appears Tony Mitchell was not best for business for Star moving forward.

The Hotshots have brought back in Ricardo Ratliffe for the 2017 PBA Commissioner's Cup and the American import, who saw action with the team last season, will make his debut for the mid-season joust Wednesday against TNT KaTropa.

Gametime is set for 7:00 p.m. at the MOA Arena.

Ratliffe averaged 27.5 points and 18.1 rebounds last season for Star, leading the Hotshots to the playoffs of the 2016 Commissioner's Cup where they lost to San Miguel Beer. The 6'8" import went straight to the Philippines from Korea to replace Mitchell who played his last game Saturday, a 99-93 wiwn over Rain or Shine in Batangas.

With both teams tied at 6-2 in the standings, this mega matchup between PBA powers could prove crucial down the stretch as the playoff race heats up.

In the first game at 4:15 p.m., league-leading Meralco Bolts (7-1) will face a struggling Globalport Batang Pier (2-6) that will also feature a new import in Justin Harper.
