Of the three teams based in Intramuros, only one appears in the win column thus far in the 2017 Filoil Flying V Preseason Tournament.
Lyceum of the Philippines University added another impressive win to its resume after getting the better of neighboring Colegio de San Juan de Letran, 99-90, on Wednesday at the Filoil Flying V Centre.
CJ Perez found the mark from the get-go and spearheaded the hot start that gave the Pirates the advantage they would keep until the final buzzer.
Perez was all over the court and finished with 16 points, seven rebounds, six assists, as well as a block and a steal
Four other teammates joined him in double-digits as newbies Jayvee and Jaycee Marcelino kept impressing with 16 and 12 points, respectively, in this one.
