Gilas Pilipinas go for win no. 2 against Singapore in SEABA

Gilas Pilipinas, ranked 27th in the world and 3rd in Asia, is expected to get a tougher outing against the Singaporeans who are coming off a loss to Indonesia to open SEABA play.
Fresh from a 107-point thrashing of an obviously overmatched Myanmar side, Gilas Pilipinas goes for win no. 2 as the 2017 SEABA Championships continue Saturday at the Araneta Coliseum.
The Philippines will once again headline a triple-header, taking on day 1 losers Singapore in the main game at 7:00 p.m. following the 3:00 p.m. matchup of Vietnam and Thailand and the Indonesia-Malaysia tiff set for 5:00 p.m.

However, with the defending champions getting a nice boost by making minced meat of the Burmese, the Philippines are still expected to go up 2-0 in the regional showcase.
