Earlier today, the Golden State Warriors scored an epic come-from-behind win over the San Antonio Spurs to take Game 1 of the NBA's Western Conference Finals.

In that same game, you may have seen something new on Kevin Durant's feet.

Durant helped lead the Warriors to a 1-0 series lead the same night he debuted his latest signature sneaker: The Nike KD10.

The number 10 signifies a lot for KD, it's been ten years since the shoe company signed a skinny teenager and immediately gave him his first signature shoe.

Today, that risk has paid off with KD and designer Leo Chang rewriting the playbook for developing a signature basketball line with authentic innovation and inspirations matching the athlete's own journey and way of thinking.

"Each year has its own story, just going through different experiences, making my first all-star game to winning my first MVP to scoring titles, Olympic medal to going to my first Finals I think all of those stories played a huge part in preparing me for the next year and the year after that," Durant said.

With KD's rise through the years, the same path is mirrored in progression from the KD9 to the KD10.

For this tenth signature shoe in his line, Leo Chang and his engineers pulled off a tour de force of basketball shoe design to yields a perfect balance of basketball-specific support and sock-like hug.

Meanwhile, under the foot lies a full-length Zoom Air unit debuted in last year's model, enhanced for durability and tuned for maximum impact cushioning.

Available May 26, the KD10 Anniversary colorway is a faint blue, with a Swoosh featuring intermixed team colors from Durant’s teams since college.  This mélange, bespoke Swoosh celebrating a 10-year anniversary is a first for Nike.  The KD10 Still KD (white) colorway drops June 1.
