Castro returns as TNT stuns Alaska with comeback win
Fresh from winning SEABA gold with Gilas Pilipinas, Jayson Castro sparked a comeback from 17 points down as the KaTropa stunned the Alaska Aces, 119-110, Saturday at the Ibalong Centrum for Recreation in Legazpi City.

TNT's charge for a top seed and a twice-to-beat advantage in the 2017 PBA Commissioner's Cup is alive and well.

Fresh from winning SEABA gold with Gilas Pilipinas, Jayson Castro sparked a comeback from 17 points down as the KaTropa stunned the Alaska Aces, 119-110, Saturday at the Ibalong Centrum for Recreation in Legazpi City.

TNT's win was its seventh in 10 games in the mid-season joust while the Aces dropped a fourth straight game for an even 4-4 record.

Showing no signs of fatigue, the Blur went for 20 points, five rebounds, and seven assists as TNT welcomed new import Joshua Smith win a win.

The toweing Smith, who replaced Donte Greene, went for 23 points and 10 boards in his PBA debut.

TNT showed incredible resilience against the Aces as Alaska dropped two 30-point quarters before faltering in the fourth.

Cory Jefferson paces the Aces with 29 points while Calvin Abueva, also coming off Gilas duty, added 11.
