San Miguel resumes chase for no. 1 against Ginebra
Fresh from beating NLEX Friday to improve to a league-best 6-1, the Beermen take on rival Brgy. Ginebra in the main game at 6:45 p.m.

Playing its second game in three days, San Miguel resumes it chase for the top overall seed as the 2017 PBA Commissioner's Cup Sunday at the MOA Arena.

Fresh from beating NLEX Friday to improve to a league-best 6-1, the Beermen take on rival Brgy. Ginebra in the main game at 6:45 p.m.

With the playoff race heating up with three other teams already at seven wins, the reigning three-time Philippine Cup champions will hope to maintain a half-game lead for no. 1 against their closest competition.

Ginebra meanwhile will hope to get right back on track after a five-game winning streak was snapped by defending champion Rain or Shine also Friday.

Currently at 5-2, the Gin Kings are also on the hunt for the no. 1 seed and the twice-to-beat advantage that comes along with it come playoff time.

In the first game at 4:30 p.m., Phoenix (4-5) will face Mahindra (2-7).
