Hotshots and Bolts dispute no. 1 ranking in Comm's Cup
Tied for first with identical 7-2 cards, the Star Hotshots and the Meralco Bolts dispute number 1 in the main 7:00 p.m. game at the Araneta Coliseum.

At least five teams have had a strong case to be number 1 in the ongoing PBA Commissioner's Cup.

After Wednesday, one team can claim the solo top spot as the mid-season conference nears its playoffs.

Tied for first with identical 7-2 cards, the Star Hotshots and the Meralco Bolts dispute number 1 in the main 7:00 p.m. game at the Araneta Coliseum.

Coming in hot with a four-game winning streak, Star gets a boost as it welcomes back Gilas Pilipinas standouts Allein Maliksi and Jio Jalalon back in the lineup.

The Bolts, tripped by Globalport in their last outing, will hope to bounce back as they return from a lenghty break. The last time Meralco saw action as last May 10.

In the first game at 4:15 p.m., one losing streak will end for sure as Alaska battles NLEX.

After winning four straight to start the Commissioner's Cup, the Aces have dropped four in a row while the Road Warriors are far worse and are still winless after nine games.
